Product Bio
This eye-catching family of tropical plants is known for its impressive, colorful, foliage. Along with its vibrant leaves, you will love watching the leaves of your Stromanthe move towards the light—literally reaching for the stars as the light fades.
Your Stromanthe Triostar prefers a well-lit spot with bright, indirect light. Though it can tolerate lower levels of light, the bright variegation will fade. Avoid direct sunlight which can burn the leaves.
Water when 25-50% of the soil volume is dry. Water thoroughly and discard any excess water in the saucer. Overwatering can cause root rot. Growth naturally slows in the winter and watering frequency should be reduced.
Your Stromanthe prefers a humid environment. Use a pebble tray, group it with other plants, or place a humidifier nearby. If this humidity is too low, leaf edges will begin to brown.
Feed your Stromanthe once per month during the spring and summer with a general purpose houseplant fertilizer diluted to half-strength. Make sure the soil is damp; never apply fertilizer to dry soil.
Stromanthe Triostars are non-toxic to humans and pets.
