How do I use Seedballs?
Throw onto soil or compost in a garden bed or planter in Spring or Autumn, leaving at least 10cm between each ball. Your Seedball has everything it needs to grow and, once the ball becomes moist and the temperature is right, your seeds will germinate!
The Seedball comes in two options - Bee Wildflower Mix & Herb Mix
Wildflowers that bees will just love! This carefully selected seed mix is designed to attract honey bees, bumblebees and solitary bees (such as mason bees and mining bees), helping to support the biodiversity and ecosystem of your garden.
Each tin contains 7 seed balls, each with approximately 10 bee-friendly wildflower or herb seeds. These make for lovely gardening gifts, bee gifts, eco friendly gifts or birthday gifts. They will work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens.
One tin of seed bombs will cover 0.5 square metre in a garden bed or 2-3 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
