Pour 2 cups or 500ml every day only when the the soil begins to dry out. Do not over-water as it leads to root-rot. Water in early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler and direct sun will not cook off the moisture before it can seep down to the roots.

Jasminum nitidum is an attractive shrub like plant that grows by spreading vine-like. It displays an abundance of large fragrant flowers that are white with purple undersides. It makes an excellent choice for cascading container garden displays and is evergreen. Large and richly fragrant star shaped flowers are borne in small sprays in late spring and throughout summer - and the perfume sweetly lingers in the dusk air. Grow over arches for a fabulous cottage garden feeling.
Water the jasmine regularly to keep the soil moist during growing seasons while the plant is establishing a strong root system.Feed this jasmine with a water-soluble, general purpose fertilizer once a year. Plant this jasmine in full sun or as close as you can get. It does not thrive in shade. Select a spot with clay, loam or sandy soil from acidic to slightly alkaline.
