Ficus microcarpa Moclame has lovely, glossy oval leaves. It is easy to care for and is well known for filtering the air of pollutants, making it an ideal healthy plant for any home or office. Light: Ficus microcarpa Moclame prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate some partial shade. Harsh, direct sunlight may scorch the leaves.
Water: Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not over water as this will cause leaf drop.
Temperature: Ideal temperatures are 16-24°C. Avoid cold draughts.
Humidity: No specific requirements, although the occasional misting wouldn't go amiss.

Care tips: Insufficient light or incorrect watering can trigger leaf drop. Adjust as necessary and your plant should quickly recover. Trim to maintain shape, but be aware that sticky latex will ooze from the ends of the cut stems. This can be an irritant, therefore wash your hands if any comes into contact with your skin.
