Plant Care

Watering

During summer, Water daily or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. During Winter season water once in 2 days or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause brown spots and leaf drop. Curly or dry leaves suggest, the plant is dry and needs watering. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.

Light

During summer season keep the plants in shaded area and during winter season plants can withstand direct/indirect light.

Temperature

During summer season or when the temperature is above 45°C place the plant in shaded area. During winter season or the when the temperature is below 45°C the plants can be directly placed in direct/indirect sunlight.

Fertilizer

Apply liquid fertilizer or slow release fertilizer once in 15 days. Always fertilizer the plants during the morning hours when the temperature is low. For best results use Folikraft ready to use Outdoor Plant Food / Flower Booster.

Plant Bio

The Climbing Rose  is a variety of beautiful climbing rose. The appeal of this climber lies in its abundance of flowers and its fragrance. The small, rounded heads already suggest what the keynote of this rose will be: the apple. In addition to the light and clear aroma of the first fresh apples of the year. It also perfectly combines its rose fragrance with these special fruity accords.

Variety:  Climber
Color:  Deep Red
Fragrance:  Slightly fruity apple
Flowering:  Repeated flowering

The main care of the rose bushes will vary depending on where they are planted. But we can make a few small recommendations that will come in handy if we have our rose bushes planted in pots.

 Climbing Rose Care:

The container or pot should be deep, with enough space for the growth of the roots, also preferably made of clay. Regarding the substrate, a substrate rich in peat and nutrients, loose and with good drainage, is recommended so that the plant does not suffer during its maturation.

The irrigation of the rose bushes will vary according to the time of year that we are. In summer we recommend frequent watering, practically daily. On the other hand, if we are in winter, with colder temperatures, it should be watered every three days.

The fertilizer must be made monthly, it must be a specific fertilizer for rose bushes or one with guano.

For its pruning we must take into account the cleaning of leaves and that the stems are dry. usually it is necessary to prune approximately 15 cm from the tips of the branches. Rejuvenation pruning will be done when necessary.
