Water once a week or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause brown spots and leaf drop. Curly or dry leaves suggest, the plant is dry and needs watering. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.
Bright indoor light or indirect sun. 6 hours to 8 hours
Maintain temperatures between 18°C - 24°C. Avoid draughts as these can create undesirable temperature fluctuations. Consider giving your plant an occasional misting twice every week to maintain the optimum humidity level.
Apply liquid fertilizer once in 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results use Folikraft ready to use Indoor Plant Food.
One of the easiest of all houseplants to grow, Red Aglaonema is also one of the most stylish. A relatively new variety to the houseplant world, this stunner shows off dark green leaves elegantly flushed with bright red or pink. Its colourful foliage makes Red Aglaonema a perfect home decor accent. It’s gorgeous on desks or tabletops, as well as coffee tables and side tables in dens, living rooms, and bedrooms.
The darker green varieties of Aglaonema can grow in near shade, while the variegated varieties require brighter light. Do not expose any Aglaonema to direct sun. Water thoroughly in the summer and mist the plant often to raise the humidity. During the winter, reduce watering but do not let the plant dry out completely. Avoid over-watering. Well-Drained potting soil is perfect. Be sure to keep it away from drafty windows or vents and the warmer the spot you can find, the better.
