Pruning
Prune the Ficus every autumn, or in between if the plant grows too large. This keeps the plant nice and compact without unsightly runners. Pruning in the fall ensures that sunlight can reach the crown in winter. Please note that a pruned ficus requires less water if a lot of leaves have been cut.
