Plant Care

Watering

During summer, Water daily or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. During Winter season water once in 2 days or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause brown spots and leaf drop. Curly or dry leaves suggest, the plant is dry and needs watering. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.

Light

During summer season keep the plants in shaded area and during winter season plants can withstand direct/indirect light.

Temperature

During summer season or when the temperature is above 45°C place the plant in shaded area. During winter season or the when the temperature is below 45°C the plants can be directly placed in direct/indirect sunlight.

Fertilizer

Apply liquid fertilizer or slow release fertilizer once in 15 days. Always fertilizer the plants during the morning hours when the temperature is low. For best results use Folikraft ready to use Outdoor Plant Food / Flower Booster.

Plant Bio

Nerium Oleander is a flowering evergreen shrub that is commonly found in subtropical and tropical regions. It is also known as Oleander and is known for its beautiful and fragrant flowers, which bloom in shades of pink, red, yellow, and white. However, it's important to note that all parts of the plant, including the flowers, leaves, and sap, are highly toxic and can be deadly if ingested.

If you're looking to care for Nerium Oleander, it's important to handle the plant with gloves and take caution when pruning or handling it. Here are some general care guidelines for Nerium Oleander:

Light: Nerium Oleander prefers full sun, but it can also tolerate partial shade.

Watering: Water the plant regularly during the growing season, but be careful not to overwater it. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering.

Soil: Nerium Oleander prefers well-draining soil that is slightly acidic.

Fertilizer: Feed the plant with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season to encourage healthy growth and blooms.

Pruning: Prune Nerium Oleander in late winter or early spring to remove any dead or damaged branches. You can also prune to shape the plant or control its size.

Pests and diseases: Nerium Oleander is relatively pest and disease-resistant, but it can be susceptible to aphids, spider mites, and scale insects. Keep an eye out for any signs of infestation and treat as necessary.

Winter care: In areas with cold winters, Nerium Oleander may need to be protected from freezing temperatures. Consider covering the plant with a frost cloth or moving it indoors during the winter months.

Remember, Nerium Oleander is highly toxic, so it's important to keep it away from children and pets. If you're unsure about how to care for this plant, consult a professional gardener or horticulturist.
