Watering

During summer, Water daily or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. During Winter season water once in 2 days or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause brown spots and leaf drop. Curly or dry leaves suggest, the plant is dry and needs watering. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.

Light

During summer season keep the plants in shaded area and during winter season plants can withstand direct/indirect light.

Temperature

During summer season or when the temperature is above 45°C place the plant in shaded area. During winter season or the when the temperature is below 45°C the plants can be directly placed in direct/indirect sunlight.

Fertilizer

Apply liquid fertilizer or slow release fertilizer once in 15 days. Always fertilizer the plants during the morning hours when the temperature is low. For best results use Folikraft ready to use Outdoor Plant Food / Flower Booster.

The Allamanda plant is a twining, bushy vine known for its brightly colored, funnel or trumpet-shaped flowers & thick foliage.

About the Product:

Plants of the genus are evergreen trees, shrubs, or vines. Allamanda is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae. The leaf blade is fleshy, broadly ovate to circular, rhombic, or kidney-shaped. densely velvety spikes. The Allamanda plant is a twining, bushy vine known for its brightly colored, funnel or trumpet-shaped flowers & thick foliage.

Some species are familiar as ornamental plants cultivated for their large, colorful flowers. Most species produce yellow flowers. The flower has five lobed sepals and a bell- or funnel-shaped corolla of five petals, yellow in most species. Golden trumpet vine is a common sight in gardens with year-round warmth and plenty of sun.

Plant Care:

Sunlight: Morning sunlight of more than 3-4 hours a day is ideal for plant growth.
Soil: The soil should be well drained, fertile and rich in organic content for growing plants.
Watering: Poke your finger/plain small stick into the soil to check the moisture. Do not over-water the plant. As a rule of thumb, water the plants thoroughly in summer and reduce watering in winter and rainy season. Water should be applied preferably in the morning or evening.
Application of Fertilizer: Before application of fertilizer loosen the topsoil without disturbing the roots of the plant so, it can uptake the nutrients and moisture easily. Apply organic fertilizer twice a month. Apply water immediately after application of fertilizer.
Plant Protection: Remove dead, infected or damaged plant parts and discard them away from the plants.
For any insect attack or disease, you can use Neem oil spray for primary treatment.
